5. Students of age to take Pointe class will need Ballet slippers as well as their Pointe shoes. (At Barre in Greenville or Dance Outfitters in Chesapeake can properly fit your child for Pointe shoes. It is extremely important that their Pointe shoes are fitted properly.) Dance Outfitters will give a discount if you mention what studio you are with.
*NO JEANS are allowed to be worn for any class. If a student arrives for class in Jeans, they will not be allowed to participate. Jeans are movement restrictive and are not acceptable as dance wear.
These guidelines are to be adhered to at all times. If the dress code is not followed, students will not be allowed to participate in class. They will be asked to sit and watch for the day. By wearing the correct clothing in class, it helps in teaching proper body alignment and makes for a better dancer.
